Hey there Inter World, this is a piece I wrote after watching Pit bulls and Parolees the other day. That show and the work the people do is great; it touches my heart, so this is for them. Much Love :) .
Misunderstood…
Man’s supposed best, is mans first betrayed. Used, abused, clings to life, man turns away. Unspoken hurts shown only through physical wounds, tail still wags, help will come soon. Scared, afraid, lost in a world alone. Looking for love, looking for a forever home. Unconditional love sits and stares, big eyes look through you mistreatment, not right, not fare.
In time those come to grant a wish, to heal, to nurture, to love with water, treats and a dogie dish. Shy, timid behavior gives way to active pants of glee. Ears up, paws out they run to you they run to me. In all shapes and sizes they wait, in all makes and models they are here to take. Look for them, look at them all; posted like dates, can’t wait to call.
